Abstract

In this paper we proposed different finite volume application techniques to convection diffusion problems. Computational fluid mechanics has gotten to be exceptionally imperative. Due to this reason, we utilize different numerical methods to discover approximate solutions for the governing equations that can not be solved analytically. Comparable among these techniques the quadratic upstream interpolation for convection kinetic (QUICK) scheme was more accurate compare to the others because it uses values at the interface of computational control volume, we further present a modified QUICK scheme which is much more accurate and satisfies mobility and boundedness.
